Welcome to Berean Freedom Fellowship
At Berean Freedom Fellowship, we’re more than a church—we’re a family. Rooted in God’s Word and led by the Holy Spirit, we’re a community of believers committed to living out our faith with love, grace, and truth. We gather primarily in house church settings and sometimes by the ocean, embracing simplicity, authenticity, and connection over tradition and formality.
We stand firmly on the authority of Scripture. As Acts 17:11 (NIV) says of the Bereans: “They received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.”
We strive to be like them—eager students of the Word, guided by truth and open to the Spirit's leading.
Located on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi, we serve the Hilo area and beyond with a heart for discipleship, community outreach, and Spirit-led worship. We believe in caring for the poor, the widows, and the orphans, and in using our resources to reflect God’s heart to the world.
As James 1:27 (NIV) reminds us:
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
